Skip co-founded Texican Crude & Hydrocarbons, LLC having been in the crude oil, natural gas liquid and natural gas purchasing, marketing and trading business for over a decade, most recently at Sunoco Logistics where he managed over 1 billion dollars of product supply on an annual basis. Prior to that, he was a partner in Texon, L.P. where his efforts helped Texon achieve the Houston Business Journal’s award of the #1 Ranked Private Company based on revenue.

Skip Redd

A native Houstonian, Skip graduated with a BSS in Economics from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1997. Skip has been involved in all aspects of the energy industry since his graduation, having spent time in field operations, scheduling and logistics, corporate finance, purchasing, marketing and trading. Skip is actively involved in the community, having served on his Church’s Pastoral Council and serving on the Board of BEAR, a public/private partnership designed to assist children that are in the care of Child Protective Services. He also co-founded YTAC (Young Texans Against Cancer). Skip, his wife, and their three daughters reside in Houston, Texas.


Robert L. Blevins
Chairman, & CEO Texican Crude & Hydrocarbons, LLC

Mr. Blevins is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences Degree. From 1981-1984 he worked in New Orleans and Houston with Southern Natural Gas Company as a transportation and natural gas representative.

Mr. Blevins was a founder of Texican Natural Gas Company in 1985 and currently serves as Chairman, President and CEO. He, along with Mr. Griffin, has built Texican from a “start-up” in 1985 to a company with combined assets in excess of $100,000,000 today. He is also Chairman, CEO & President of Texican Energy Corporation, the exploration and production affiliate of TNGC. He also serves as Chairman & CEO of both Texican Crude & Hydrocarbons, LLC and Texican Oilfield Services, LLC.

His duties are primarily overseeing all of the Texican companies. Other duties include gas marketing strategies, business development, financial strategies and storage arbitrage. Mr. Blevins is married with two children and his hobbies are golf, tennis and skiing.


A. Alan Griffin
President & CFO – Texican Crude & Hydrocarbons, LLC 

Mr. Griffin, a CPA, is a 1976 graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in accounting. Prior to 1984, he was a self-employed consultant in the oil & gas and ranching industries for three years, the Chief Financial Officer for a crude oil trading and refining company for three years, and a public accountant with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, and Company (now known as KPMG Peat Marwick), where he was involved in the auditing of banks, energy companies and governmental type entities.

He was a founder of Texican, along with Robert Blevins in 1985, and has served, since inception, as Chief Financial Officer of Texican. He, along with Mr. Blevins, has built Texican from a “start-up”, in 1985 to a company with combined assets in excess of $100,000,000 today. He is also Vice-President of Texican Energy Corporation, the exploration and production affiliate of TNGC. He also serves as the President and CFO of both Texican Crude & Hydrocarbons, LLC and Texican Oilfield Services LLC. From 1984 to 1992, he also served as Vice President & General Manager of Wayman W. Buchanan, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas, an affiliate, involved in exploration and production, in the domestic onshore areas and in the federal offshore waters.

His duties consist of the overall management of Texican and its affiliates along with Mr. Blevins. Primary focus is on financial strategies, cash management, administration, accounting, financial, business development, deal structure and legal areas. Mr. Griffin has been a member of various professional organizations as follows: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Association of Professional Landmen, Houston Association of Professional Landmen, and National Energy Services Association. He was also a founder and organizing director and member of the executive committee of a local community bank in Tomball, Texas, which was successfully sold 10 years after founding.

Mr. Griffin has been married for 29 years and has two daughters. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Tomball. He operates a small cow/calf ranching operation in South Texas and enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors, especially introducing children (and others who otherwise don’t have an opportunity) to the outdoors and its wonders.
